Brock and Jackson are out in Sooke for an Open House. Prior to an open house, we have an information session about the area. By looking at the Municipal website, and reading the Official Community Plan with zoning guidelines you can learn what is happening around you, or where you plan to move.
Sooke, being a town with a highway through it, is looking to maintain its “wild by nature” and not just become part of the Victoria Westshore (Westshore megalopolis). The current housing available does not match the growth of the area. Sooke is looking to density its downtown core with buildings up to 6 storeys having a mixture of residential and commercial space. Outside of the core, they are looking for 3 storeys (townhomes). Interested to learn more?
