Overview
North Saanich lies at the tip of the Saanich Peninsula, surrounded by a breathtaking 40km ocean shoreline with a true agricultural core. The area is full of spacious rolling farmland and ample opportunity to pick up fresh roadside produce and flowers. It is rich in Indigenous history and exists on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples, with excellent community engagement of the Pauquachin First Nation and Tseycum First Nation.
Although slightly further from downtown than it’s Southern counterparts (granted those used to living in a city are likely to laugh at a 25-minute commute), North Saanich offers a country-living feel with easy access to the beautiful coastal community of Sidney-by-the-sea (where all amenities are offered), BC Ferries Swartz Bay Terminal, Victoria International Airport (YYJ), and the Washington State Ferry from Sidney to Anacortes and the San Juan Islands. An added bonus is the proximity to Saanich Peninsula Hospital, which offers a number of health services and a 24-hour emergency room accessible locally.
